SKILLY: How were you able to start your journey in the entertainment business? Where did this all start?
R.S: I wanted to start my own business so I started a record label.
What are some of the creative ways you use to promote your music?
I promote on the radio or at shows or I use social media.
What is the greatest challenge you face in today’s entertainment business? How do you overcome them?
Getting my music done on the date the music is supposed to be done. So much go into my music.
How is the music scene like in your hometown? What do you like about it and what don’t you like?
The music scene is lit but the part I don’t like is a lot of great musicians don’t work together because of problems outside of music.
Where do you think the future of music is going to be? How do you feel artists can be more a part of it?
The future of music is gonna be 10 times better than it is now so many artists still in their prime. The way an artist can be a part of it which might not seem so true is social media.
What advice can you give to other upcoming artists and musicians trying to achieve success?
The advice I give to upcoming artists is to charge for everything. It’s a business, and be consistent.

I get that urge: it’s a feeling I can’t explain.

Make a beat, write a verse, go and record, that’s the song!

The vibe if the vibe in the studio is good, most likely the song will be great.
