“Really to stay in school. Know your history, English, math and observe and utilize your elements around you.”

Check out the interview with RhusherOnes exclusively on Skilly Magazine Online.

SKILLY: Where did this all start? Tell us about your journey in the entertainment business.
R: It all started when I was a junior in high school I did a was suppose to be a poem to Beowulf, but ended up as a rap. After that I just never really comprehend the fact about rapping until five years ago.

What would be your biggest piece of advice for the young kids out there trying to do what you do?
Really to stay in school. Know your history, English, math and observe and utilize your elements around you.

We all know the entertainment business is very tough, but what do you find is the best way to promote and advertise your music?
Word of mouth, keeping in contact with big names, entering contests, and it’s all about who you know really. You have to apply yourself and take action!

Tell us about your city. How are the artists and the fans?
I’m originally from Ontario, California. A lot of art and music is there, so I moved when I was 17 and a half. I’m now residing in Tucson where I know of a local artist by the name of Rather Knot Shoot.

Where do you see yourself a year from today?
I hope to be going hard independently or with a label that’s about the artists and fairness.

Who and what were your biggest inspirations? Who do you look up to in today’s world?
Big L, Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne, JR Writer. I also look up to myself.

How do you feel about the music coming out today? Do you like it?
I feel it’s wishy-washy. It’s going either way, but definitely a lot of trap. It’s ok I guess. It relieves stress from whatever mood you’re in.

Thanks! Where can we contact you and find you online?
