Apparently, MGK sent out a tweet back in 2012 about the Em’s teen daughter, saying she was “hot as f*ck”. He says that because of the tweet, some media outlets will not cover his project.
“Pictures of that had came out and I’m like 21 years old. I’m like, ‘Oh my God. She’s beautiful but all respect due. Eminem is king,’ What’s wrong with that? Is there a 15 year age gap where I’m a creep for that?” Machine Gun Kelly asked.
“Certain people took it and ran with it and hyped it up,” he continued. “Certain people won’t even listen or review this joint. Certain places you won’t even hear Machine Gun Kelly on. Certain things won’t even happen. A friend of mine said it best yesterday. They said, ‘Why do you care? You came in the industry blackballed. You already came in with everyone hating you.’ ”
Later, Machine Gun Kelly addresses his quiet break-up with Amber Rose, explaining his lifestyle got in the way.
“It was just… ‘I live a gnarly life. I’m really hard to be around. I’mma head case,’ ” he said. “I embarked on a six-month tour. And, that spotlight is not what I’m about. She felt that off-top.”
MGK also talks about wanting to respected in hip-hop, why his album took so long to come out, and the music.
