Free agency in music can be just as lucrative as it is sports. And music artist Lupe Fiasco has obtained the desired status and has big plans for 2016 with the release of 3 albums. His last album under Atlantic Records was the January 2015 release of Tetsuo & Youth.
Over the weekend the Chicago rapper took to Twitter to make the announcement tweeting, “Attention Lupe Fans: 3 full album releases in 2016.”
His first release will titled Drogas. The second album is what he hinted to be a sequel to his 2007 album Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool. His tweet read, “The Cool is dead… long live The Cool 2.”
