Skilly: Where did this all start? Tell us about your journey in the entertainment business.
Crucial: It all started right out of my room at the age 11 with my own recorded cassette tapes around 97-98. I ended up making a group called Camouflage Souljas and we started traveling locally. I recorded more studio albums and then started acting and preforming over the years. Now I’m about to release my upcoming studio album called Welcome 2 My Thoughts and am hitting the frontlines with my new hit single called “On My Grind.” I’m making moves to keep my career pushing forward. I’m ready to travel to show the world what I can offer with my pure talent.

What would be your biggest piece of advice for the young kids out there trying to do what you do?
Just to stay focused on your craft and keep pushing and keep your faith in God and make it happen from there.

What are some of the hardest challenges and tasks in your position?
Traveling and touring the world and working with the right people in the music industry.

We all know the entertainment business is very tough, but what do you find is the best way to promote and advertise your music?
Social media and YouTube. Grind hard.

Tell us about your city. How are the artists and the fans?
Sherveport-Bossier is an awesome city they give me all the support in the world. If you’re jamming the fans from my city will let you know to keep on going.

Where do you see yourself a year from today?
Touring and doing a lot of radio interviews.

Who and what were your biggest inspirations? Who do you look up to in today’s world?
Bone Thugs, Big Sean, J Cole, and Kendrick Lamar.

How do you feel about the music coming out today? Do you like it?
Some music I like, but most of the music needs to go back to the 90’s and 2000’s when real music was made.
