“The hardest challenge is simply getting people to listen. You have to attract their attention, but there’s right ways and wrong ways.”
Check out the interview with Mighty PLUTO exclusively on Skilly Magazine Online.
Skilly: Where did this all start? Tell us about your journey in the entertainment business.
Mighty PLUTO: I’m just a hip hop/rap fanatic. I like aspects of it all. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember. One day I might be listening to Travis Scott, the next I may be listening to ICP.
What would be your biggest piece of advice for the young kids out there trying to do what you do?
Just be yourself, stay positive, and focus on progress.
What are some of the hardest challenges and tasks in your position?
The hardest challenge is simply getting people to listen. You have to attract their attention, but there’s right ways and wrong ways.
We all know the entertainment business is very tough, but what do you find is the best way to promote and advertise your music?
Radio airplay and music videos.
Tell us about your city. How are the artists and the fans?
There’s a lot of unnoticed talent in Boston I must say, and the fans are loyal.
Where do you see yourself a year from today?
Making more music and making more progress.
Who and what were your biggest inspirations? Who do you look up to in today’s world?
I get inspired by something new every day, that’s hard to say.
How do you feel about the music coming out today? Do you like it?
Anything is possible with music. Some of it I like, some of it I don’t.
