Skilly: How were you able to start your journey in the entertainment business? Where did this all start?
Kidd Flare: I started my journey at a young age playing instruments.
What are some of the creative ways you use to promote your music?
Music videos and remixes. A lot of times at my shows I debut new songs.
What is the greatest challenge you face in today’s entertainment business? How do you overcome them?
People giving me a chance and taking my music seriously. I normally just keep pushing music and doing it.
How is the music scene like in your hometown? What do you like about it and what don’t you like?
I love that my hometown, it shows me love. I hate the violence. I just lost my cousin to violence.
Where do you think the future of music is going to be? How do you feel artists can be more a part of it?
The future of music can go anywhere. Artists can be a part of it by spreading love and helping everyone.
What advice can you give to other upcoming artists and musicians trying to achieve success?
Never give up, someone’s always listening.
What inspires you to write your next song?
Anything. I normally work with my producers and we craft.
What are the steps you take to make a song?
Creating a hook and making a beat around it.

Passion and reality.
