How were you able to start your journey in the entertainment business? Where did this all start?
I’ve always wrote music, I just had a passion for it, then I finally found a place to record and it stuck to me. I have 2 EP’s and a mixtape on the way, this is what I do.
What are some of the creative ways you use to promote your music?
Nothing really creative, I post it on twitter and people listen. Shout out to the people that’s BEEN rocking with me. I came a long way.
What is the greatest challenge you face in today’s entertainment business? How do you overcome them?
Getting my music noticed, that’s it. And also hosting a show, but all that’ll come. I’m straight. This music shit is hard period, so it all depends on the work ethic, and I work hard. It’s going to pay off. It’s a mind set.
How is the music scene like in your hometown? What do you like about it and what don’t you like?
It’s live as fuck! Everybody is doing their thing. Just putting on for the city I’m from. The H that’s what I’m repping. I like the new wave of this generation in music. I like what Travis $cott is doing right now. And I don’t like a lot of shit LOL.
Where do you think the future of music is going to be? How do you feel artists can be more a part of it?
Lol I can’t see the future, but it’ll come, we’ll see how it goes.
What advice can you give to other upcoming artists and musicians trying to achieve success?
Man really just do you, don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t be, hard work won’t go to waste. Be a leader. Following won’t get you anywhere in this world.
What inspires you to write your next song?
I smoke weed and the bars come to me haha. But I go thru things daily and just put it into my lines.
What are the steps you take to make a song?
First I listen to beat over and over until I feel the flow come to me, and from there I’m probably making a live ass song. Me and my producer @satibeats work really hard until we have some shit on my tape I can’t wait to put it out.
What do you think makes a great song?
First it’s the beat. You have to make sure the beat’s bumping , then it’s the small things like ad-libs , they could make a song sometimes, but then again it’s so much time into making a great song. I’m still trying to make a great song. I have like 30 songs and not one of them is great to me.
