Jay Z took the stand in court this past week, in a lawsuit over his 1999 hit, “Big Pimpin”… and forgot one of his biggest brands.
In the trial, the hip-hop mogul was asked what he does for a living, after which he listed off his various endeavors. “I make music, I’m a rapper, I’ve got a clothing line, I run a label, a media label called Roc Nation with a sports agency, music publishing and management. Restaurants and nightclubs,” Jay said. “I think that about covers it.”
Jay Z’s attorney followed up, asking whether or not he still owns the streaming service, TIDAL. “Yeah, yeah. Forgot about that,” Hov said.
LMFAO. TIDAL is likely the venture demanding most of his time, and he left that off the table?
