“I simply decided to give this music thing a try. It’s been interesting. I’ve learned a lot and I’m enjoying it so far.”
Check out the interview with Grind Hard exclusively on Skilly Magazine Online.
Skilly: Where did this all start? Tell us about your journey in the entertainment business.
Grind Hard: It started where I’m from in Macon, GA (MacTown). I simply decided to give this music thing a try. It’s been interesting. I’ve learned a lot and I’m enjoying it so far.
What would be your biggest piece of advice for the young kids out there trying to do what you do?
Patience, patience, patience. Stay humble and hungry. Follow your dream no matter what obstacles come your way.
What are some of the hardest challenges and tasks in your position?
You have to really know who’s for you and who’s not. Having a great team I feel is necessary.
We all know the entertainment business is very tough, but what do you find is the best way to promote and advertise your music?
Word of mouth. Stay connected with your fans.
Tell us about your city. How are the artists and the fans?
MacTown, Macon, GA. My city will support you if you got hits, but if not they are gonna let you know. It’s real life down here.
Where do you see yourself a year from today?
Grinding. On the road doing more shows and connecting with more fans across the globe.
Who and what were your biggest inspirations? Who do you look up to in today’s world?
I just want to create the best music I can. My mom pushes me to the limits.
How do you feel about the music coming out today? Do you like it?
I’m still riding to the 90’s and early 2000 music, but there are still some good artists that hold real music down today.
