Chance the Rapper took to Twitter on Thursday June 22, 2017 to apologize to Dr. Dre with a series of tweets where he recognizes being wrong for dissing the mogul and his Aftermath imprint during his Be Encouraged Tour.
Earlier this year, the Chicago rapper flashed images behind him while on stage during a tour stop in April mocking the names and logos of famous labels. For Aftermath the image said, “Can’t Do Math Entertainment” alongside a fake mock-up of the label’s logo.
This week, Chance went to Twitter and offered a public apology. “I want to formally apologize to Dr Dre, and all of Aftermath for publicly disrespecting their hard work and contributions to music.”
