“I don’t see it as challenges, more like obstacles that can be overcame easily.”

Check out the interview with Aeyez Youngstar exclusively on Skilly Magazine Online.

Skilly: How were you able to start your journey in the entertainment business? Where did this all start?
Aeyez Youngstar:
It started when I was 17 in my friend’s basement studio; we were playing around and ended up making some really good music.

What are some of the creative ways you use to promote your music?
Usually whatever comes up, big opportunities often come my way.

What is the greatest challenge you face in today’s entertainment business? How do you overcome them?
I don’t see it as challenges, more like obstacles that can be overcame easily.

How is the music scene like in your hometown? What do you like about it and what don’t you like?
It’s not too bad, artists in my city don’t often work together. We all hustle in different ways.

Where do you think the future of music is going to be? How do you feel artists can be more a part of it?
I am the future of music, join me and let’s become royalty.

What advice can you give to other upcoming artists and musicians trying to achieve success?
Stay consistent and optimistic, never ever give up.

What inspires you to write your next song?
The everyday struggles I go through in life inspire all of my music.

What are the steps you take to make a song?
Typically I just hear the instrumental once and the whole song comes to me.

What do you think makes a great song?
A dope beat, up-tempo wave, and catchy lyrics.
