Although it does not make or break the deal. It is a very big turn on if you have links to all the press that you’ve done. From online appearances, to magazines, to independent spotlights on indie papers, these all account for your overall artist value, or as I like to call it, your OAV (I came up with this by the way, hehe). The more you can contribute to your OAV, the higher chance you have of a major label wanting to sell your music, and the higher chance of overall success.
