At one point, every artist was dying to get their music distributed by iTunes. They waited weeks and sometimes months for them to get approved. But they didn’t know that in the long run, selling your music on iTunes can be very harmful to their careers. Here are the reasons why.
#1. They prevent you from gaining fans
Just like Amazon, iTunes does not want you to have the information of your own customers and fans. If you don’t get their information or at least their e-mails, how are you supposed to ever market your music or company? Worse than that, one fan can potentially be worth thousands of dollars.
